How your details are handled

Steorra Coaching is a trading name of Akeman Consulting Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 11409479). We are the “data controller” for the personal details described below — if you have any questions about this page, email hello@steorra.coach.

Contact and booking forms. When you send a message or request a discovery call, we receive your name, email address and whatever you write to us. We use it only to reply to you and to arrange the conversation you asked about.

Confirmation emails. When you submit either form, an automated confirmation email is sent to the address you gave us. It is sent on our behalf by our email delivery provider.

Self-assessment. The bearing check on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and results stay on your device — they are not sent to us or stored anywhere.

Newsletter. The Data Boardroom newsletter is published on Substack. If you subscribe there, Substack collects your email address and handles it under Substack's own privacy policy. We can see your subscription details as the publisher, and you can unsubscribe at any time from any newsletter email.

This website does not use advertising trackers or analytics profiling.

Details from contact and booking enquiries are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted — sooner if you ask us to. If we go on to work together, separate coaching-related records are kept under the terms we agree with you directly.

We don't sell or rent personal details, ever. We share only what is needed to run the site and its services: our website platform, our email delivery provider, and Substack for the newsletter. Each processes data on our instructions and is responsible for keeping it safe.

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, and object to how we use them. To do any of this — or if you'd rather your enquiry details were removed straight away — just email hello@steorra.coach and we'll sort it within 30 days.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your details — though we'd much rather you told us first so we can put it right.
